All international guests will arrive at Hamad International Airport (DOH), consistently ranked among the world's best airports. The airport is located approximately 15–20 minutes from central Doha and is served by direct flights from most major international hubs.

Airport to Al Messila
Karwa taxis offer a convenient and flexible way to travel to and from Hamad International Airport. Arriving passengers can board a taxi at the Taxi Pavilion located to the left end of the Arrivals Hall — follow the 'Taxi' sign or ask at an information desk. The fare from the airport to Al Messila is approximately 60–80 QR ($18–$22).

Uber is the fastest, cheapest, and easiest way to get around within Doha if you are not driving.

July in Doha is hot and sunny, with daytime temperatures typically between 38°C and 45°C. Humidity can be high, particularly in the evenings. Alcohol is available at licensed hotels, hotel bars, and restaurants including Al Messila. Guests may purchase alcoholic beverages directly from these outlets or through room service.

Please note: alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into Qatar. Any alcohol purchased from Duty Free will be held by airport authorities on arrival and returned to you when you depart Qatar.

Qatar is generally conservative, particularly in public places such as malls, museums, and government facilities. Within the hotel and resort areas, casual attire is acceptable, including shorts and other leisure wear.

UK & US Citizens — Visa on Arrival
UK and US citizens can enter Qatar with a visa on arrival for a short stay of up to 30 to 90 days.

Nigerian Citizens — Visa Required
Nigerian citizens visiting Doha, Qatar require a Qatar visa prior to entry. Visa applications will be processed through Al Messila, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Doha — the hotel reservation guarantees the visa processing.

Documents Required for Visa Processing
Passport — Clear scan copy of the passport data page. Must include both pages and cannot be a photo taken on a phone.

Photo — A clear passport-size photo with a white background.

The visa process takes between 3 to 7 working days, and visa validity begins from the date of issue. To maximise the validity period for guests, visa processing will commence from 1 July. The hotel charges QAR 250 for each visa application.
